Tune in to your intuition and connect with yourself, by reflecting on the messages that come through. (Tarot is for self-discovery - not prediction.)
This is where we’ll play with watercolor and intuitive art to help you let go, build mindfulness and find a sense of flow that comes from doing art.
Moving your body improves mood, energy, focus, and overall health. If you can find ways to move that you enjoy, and also keep some of those perimenopause symptoms in check? Win-win.
I’ll pull out my favorite self-coaching tools, "Mr. Dress-up-style" and you can try everything on, and keep what fits. The right tool at the right time can be the catalyst that shifts everything.
Each month, you'll also receive a Neurographica drawing experience connected to the theme of the month.
I'll guide you through each step of the drawing, and you don't need to "be a creative person" to do this (although, I'm guessing you ARE creative, even if you don't think you are).
This experience is the perfect activity for you if you'd like to go a little deeper, spending a little more than 15 minutes on an activity, and play around with ideas in a visual way to reconnect with YOU.

If you're not enjoying yourself, of course you can leave the party any time.
Without seeing your schedule, YES. And that's because you're in control - this isn't a course with curriculum to be completed by a certain day. You can’t fall behind - there is no behind! This is just YOU making time for yourself and if all you have space for is choosing ONE thing each month - make that be enough for now.
As my kids and I had to discuss many times, all tech isn't created equally and there's a difference between using your phone to help you create something, play with new ideas, or reflect on things that are meaningful to you versus using your phone to consume...ads for more yoga pants you don't need and hear depressing news you've already heard 3 times today. So, yes, this is an online membership and so you'll use your phone - but it's just a tool to help you strengthen that connection with YOU.
Neurographica is art + personal growth + psychology. It's a mindful and intuitive drawing tool which can help you play with ideas in a visual way. You don't have to think of yourself as "creative" to do it - it's more about the process than the product. Supplies are minimal for it too - just paper, a marker and something to color with.
What makes it a "bonus" is that it's a more in depth experience than the others, meaning these experiences are a bit longer. You may like that and you may not and so it's a bonus because I wanted to keep the main activities in the goodie bag short and sweet. But, sometimes you do have more time and might want to go a little deeper and the Neurographica drawing experiences are perfect for that depth.
Also, some months, these experiences will be offered LIVE as paid workshops on my website and one of the perks of being a member of Permission to Play is that you get to attend these LIVE experiences for free as part of the membership, including access to the recordings.
A monthly spread of cards is included, but is completely optional. The cards are used as a reflective journaling tool rather than being predictive. Think of it like an “energy check-in” with prompts that help you notice what matters to YOU this month. Much more "practical" than "woo" but meant to be fun and supportive. (Nothing like when we used to scare ourselves with the Ouija board we weren't supposed to be using.)
Absolutely. The art component is process-based art and meant for reconnection, not performance. It's about how you feel and what you gain from doing the art - more than creating a pretty picture. That being said, you probably are WAY more creative than you give yourself credit for. We lose that piece of ourselves somewhere along the way and Permission to Play can help you find it again.
In general, basic watercolor paint, paper, and brushes, a Sharpie, coloring pencils, and markers. Any other supplies will be listed with the activity and can evolve with members' requests. I've been teaching art to junior and high school students for many years, so I'm game to do all the things, depending on interest - meaning you can shape what we do each month. Just let me know what you'd like to try or see more of.
Shiny new activities arrive during the first week of each month inside your member's area. And, I'll email you when they're available so you don't have to worry about remembering to check if they've arrived.
No, they will not disappear! This is supposed to be fun and low pressure. So, I'll be leaving past Goodie Bags for you to access whenever you want - creating a "Goodie Bag Stash" (kinda reminds me of my Halloween treat stash as a kid lol).
Save your favorites for later or binge watch at once.
And if you're overwhelmed by too many decisions, and worried you won't know where to start - I got you. Ignore the stash, stick with the current month of activities, and follow my suggested flow.
So glad you asked! Because Permission to Play is brand new, you'll get occasional short, optional check-ins—so I can tailor themes and prompts around what actually works in real life and what YOU would love to see.
Of course! If Permission to Play sounds like what you need, then please join us.

Of course. You can cancel any time.
Yes, you do lose access to the platform and all activities and perks when you no longer have an active subscription. However, you'll regain access to all the Goodie Bags if you decided to jump in again, down the road.

May’s Goodie Bag is all about Reconnecting with Nature.
We’ll have fun dreaming up our "Happy Place", see what insights our Tarot cards have for us, do a nature themed watercolor piece, and make movement more fun by adding a little wonder.
Our Neurographica drawing experience will also anchor in our connection with nature.
All these activities serve to boost your energy, mindfulness, and ability to slow down and be present.
And don't forget!
Goodie Bags remain in Permission to Play each month, creating a growing stash of activities to pull from when you want that boost of fun, energy, or inspiration.
Just the desire for more lightness, energy, joy, and self-connection.
Join now to access the newest Goodie Bag of activities.
