Here's a snippet from midway through the drawing process, where the focus is on an obstacle you've overcome, and thinking about all you gained from that experience. When you think about things you've already done, been through or achieved, how can you re-direct some of that as inspiration into other areas of your life, now?
What would it be like to feel more confident about your boundaries, your decisions, your appearance, your choices, speaking in front of a crowd or putting yourself "out there" in whatever way kinda makes you cringe right now?
This session is meant for you to take some time to reflect on your strengths and use them to fuel those visions of confidence that you have for yourself, and also to think about how having that level of confidence will impact your life in other ways.
We'll explore all of this, visually, through the Neurographica drawing process.
You can be a complete beginner, as everything you need to know for this process is included in this class.
This is one session from my 8 week series that draws on the 8 Cs of Internal Family Systems (IFS): Confidence, Compassion, Calm, Courage, Curiosity, Creativity, Clarity, Connectedness. (You don't need to know anything about IFS - it's simply where I got my inspiration for the drawing series.)
All you need is an open mind and heart and some basic drawing supplies (black Sharpie, coloring pencils, markers/highlighters, sketchbook/copier paper).
